Anyone using Radioactive Wifi in Hoedspruit?

If so, what are your impressions? Apparently Telkom ADSL is notoriously bad in this area and so the only alternative appears to be Radioactive Wifi. We signed up a couple months ago and in general, speeds seem to be fairly low with fairly frequent service interruptions.

Talking on skype is a bit of a nightmare, connection keeps on dropping. And the other day, I tried to download a 30Meg file and it was going to take 17 hours to download!! Talk about sipping through a straw. To be fair to them, it's not always that bad, they must have had some connectivity problems at the time.

I'm wondering if other users have had similar experiences ...

Good day. I am replying to this post as a the C.T.O of Radio Active. I would just like to know if you have reported the problem to us as we are not aware of any problem at any of our clients at the moment. Since we have swopped over from DSL to Fibre we have has little or no down time at all, skype works briliantly as we now have a symetric link unlike with ADSL.

Please report problems directly to us and we will gladly assist with the issue as our service is our main priority.

Thanks for responding here.

This post is indeed quite old, and at the time, I was just wondering if other users were having similar (intermittent) problems - as I stated in the original post.

We're still clients, and haven't had any issues in a while, so we're happy with your service.
