Anyone using Telkom getting billed twice?

My ADSL bill is about R200 more than usual.

On the bill I see ADSL Prolog for the period 27 Dec 03 to 31 Jan 04 and on the next line ADSL Prolog again for the period 01 Jan 04 to 26 Jan 04.

Telkom's account enquiries person tells me that the computers are "down", and I'm told to phone again later or try on Friday.
 
Telkom have recently increased there prices efective from 1 Jan 2004. Hence the price breakdown between your billing run and 31 Dec and 1 Jan onwards.
 
I got hold of their accounts department and they told me that they are "investigating" and will "get back to me".

ADSL prices are supposed to be unaffected by the latest price hikes.
 
I got a phone call this morning from them informing me that I have exceeded my R1000 credit limit and that my line is cut off.
I exploded at the caller as the line is always R980.30 and if it is more than that it is due to a fualt on their side.
As susual I had to phone another number to get this sorted out.
I spoke to a lady in account and explained to her how their own adsl service works and that I have been double charged.
They acknowledge the problem saying that there was a problem with their computers and I will be credited, but they could not tell me with what ammount.
I also insisted on a refund for the days that my line was cut off due to their fault, this was approved by the supervisor.
I am now waiting to see how much ctedit I receive and if they are going to charge me interest for their fault.
