Anyone know where I can find/buy AOSept?

This is the only thing I have used that works. It works so well that I would pay a premium to get it (except the insane prices on Importitall.co.za ).

Thanks in advance.

I can't find it anywhere either. Have been using Oxysept instead, but it is not as convenient as AOsept, because you have to add a tablet to neutralise the hydrogen peroxide

I have since heard that the product is made by a new manufacturer in SA. It needs to go to the medical council for approval. ETA on the market is somewhere in December. It's going to be a long wait.

An update and pro-tip for any folk desperate like this humble scot, scout out your local pharmacy. The more "obscure" the pharmacy, the more likely you are to finding the prize.

Yesterday I got 2 x 360 ml solutions :)

Has anyone found a place stocking Aosept yet ?
Apparently stock was due to arrive in the country in mid December but I still can't find any.

My optometrist in Durbanville, Cape Town (Charl Laas optometrists) let me know that they have some in stock at R170 per bottle last week. The last time I bought it, it was R99 at Clicks.

You can't buy it online anywhere?

Maybe get an aramex global shopper account, those will be tiny you could order a good few for the R170/0.5kg min shipping charge from just about anywhere in the world.

That's not bad at all.

Went for eye test yesterday, going back to contacts. What I'll do different this time around is to wear my specs at home when back from work. This will ensure proper oxygenation of the eyes before going to sleep. Never did this in the past.

I think AOSept is once again pretty freely available, but just for the benefit of those who might end up on this thread, here are my most recent purchase experiences (circa March/April 2016) :

360ml kit :
R139.95 at Dis-Chem
R135.00 at Torga Optical

And yes, I have to agree : It works really well.

Out of interest : each fill-to-the-line dosage is almost exactly 10ml, so the 360ml kit should give you 36 cleaning sessions at around R3.75 a pop.
If you use it every night - which is probably overkill for most - one bottle should last you just over 5 weeks.
