One month ago, i got this idea to start making apps for businesses. I started with many app builders and find the one that word, So on to try getting some clients, it was difficult .but I have done something magical and happen to mention the word free.

NOW every business wants an application for they business.

Good, plan executed now is better that a perfect plan later.

They will only pay for the hosting of the app that is really nothing, and if they don't make money at least they can brag at thy braai’s and at the dinner table for R300 a month about this thing that can make the fire.

And me, I will make money with adverts, some push notifications and opening e shops on their apps. All so make money for marketing their businesses, web-pages, landing pages and freelance marketing wit CRM programs.

Next will be to get bigger companies and do the same Thing.

What do I miss in this picture?

What can go wrong?

How many months before I make a million?

R1million / R300 = 3333, so about 3500 payer months, so if you have 10 customers and no expenses, about 29 years. Obviously, advertising revenue could bring this down, but if it is for very small businesses, your install base might be in the hundreds, so advertising revenue might be in terms of cents. And if I am for example a shop selling bananas, I might not be happy if a large part of my app is adverts from other people selling bananas and other stuff, so I might not be happy to pay that R300 for a long time.

But I guess, what do you have to loose. So, maybe try it and see how it goes. Just be aware that it can take a while to ramp up a business, so make sure to keep your costs super low.

what did I just read?

Like gkm said, the weakness of this model is that it operates at such a small scale its almost useless.
You don't seem like you're very inclined on the coding apps and as such the ads that target your apps are most likely going to either be completely irrelevant (no revenue) or competition to the business ( = pissed of businesses)

Small business are going to have even smaller user bases. Your revenue (if any) will be tiny unless you get lots of businesses to sign up. I mean lots.
