Yeah I dont wish Apple would die since I do enjoy their devices sometimes when i need a change but i really hope all their patent trolling hopes and dreams are SQUASHED permanently!
Other than your attempt at trolling by calling them a patent troll (Which you know it isn't. The troll in patent troll refers to the hidden tax/fee you need to pay to cross a trolls bridge. There is no hidden tax/fee with Apple. They don't want people to licence their patents), you are right in a way. The patent system should be tweaked. You should dislike the rules of the game, not the players

Yeah I should dislike the game(Guess what I do,the patent system is flawed!) and some people need to stop being isheep.
Surely EVERYTHING Apple does cant be right unlike some here would have you believe....I guess if you keep the propaganda going long enough people might believe you just like they believe our two rip-off networks advertising campaigns.

I called you out for trolling, as I suspect you know what the definition of patent troll is, and what the troll in patent troll refers to. You don't like them being litigious, but try to fan the flames by using the word patent troll, which has a specific meaning.
What on earth makes you think I think everything apple does is right???? That's one hell of a wrong assertion.

Well, I still think that Apple are patent trolls - especially after looking at some of the patents that they have tried to register over the last decade.
I quite agree with the Judge in the UK case.

It is not about being politically correct, it is using words and phrases according to their meaning, not according to what you wish them to mean

Regarding their patents in the last decade, whether you agree that they are valid patents or not aside, lets say they aren't valid patents. That does still not not meet the requirements to be a patent troll, which has a very specific and defined meaning.
Regarding the UK judge, I like his ruling as well

Apple are patent trolls.
They may be doing it different from the old method but patent trolls non the less, using patents to ban the competition and make ludicrous profits of your own devices qualifies them as patent trolls in my book.

While I actually agree with your statement, JStrike is right. Apple are not patent trolls as such, just a bunch of f@#kers using a flawed system to prevent effective competition.
What I would like to know is why the same judge is the only one siding with them (Lucy Koh)? Every other court in every other country that they tried to pull these stunts in, threw the cases out. That is very suspicious to me.

No, the word you are looking for is litigious.
Apple do not demand payment for the use of their patents. They do not want anyone using them period.
And they produce products (In very high quantity at that) that implement the patents.
So they do not meet any of the requirements to be a patent troll.
But you seem to want to use the word, so go ahead if it makes you happy. But it makes you sound as if you don't know what you are talking about

The Judge ordered Apple to place an advertisement on their website and in the media stating that Samsung did not copy the iPad with their 10.1 tablet.
Yep. The system does need an overhaul in my opinion
