I think I mentioned the iPhone wasn’t perfect - and MyBB lit up. The gang all joined to jump in & insult! Boomer joined the conversation to add stuff before he sleeps.

Your argument is simply that because it’s not there it is therefore wrong.

It’s got nothing to do with how to think, it’s simply logical.

So now instead of arguing that it’s different, explain to all of us WHY it should be like you and “everyone” wants it? Approach it with logic and explain how it will benefit us by adding this choice that currently doesn’t exist.

If it doesn’t benefit anyone why should it be added?

Stop arguing Apple bad. Explain WHY the Android method is better.

I have explained it and you chanted that Apple was amazing & you were going to tell me how to sort photos in all situations?

Hold the bus - are you saying that Apple didn’t invent it? And also a single use device like a camera is the same as an iPhone?

No you haven’t explained WHY and HOW it will benefit us doing this on the iPhone/iPad.

All you’ve done is repeatedly said that the option isn’t there and it’s available everywhere else.

I want you to think logically why it might not be there and explain it here.

If you make a reasonable effort to actually explain yourself, everyone here will make a reasonable effort in turn.

You never do this. You just throw things out there with no logic and then wonder why people laugh about it and then “don’t understand”.

So simple question : Why do we need a sort in reverse feature in the main Photo Library?

Focus on the question, turn off all the drama and whatever nonsense came before.

1. You take a photo and it saves it at the bottom. You can’t change this. You’re just told that you this is the best way

2. You create an album. Apple grants you permission to sort within an album.

3. You email or Instagram to add the folder. Apple then reverses the sorting and you can’t change this

4. If you are viewing a slightly older photo with Photos - you scroll up to see it

5. If you’re attaching the same photo to a mail - you scroll down to attach it

For the most consistent, intuitive piece of software known to mankind - the lack of an option (sometimes) and different direction scrolling (depending where you are) is what some people call … inconsistent

Diversion.
You were talking about an iPhone's camera and its camera roll. Also claimed that only Apple does that. I showed you that arguably the best camera company in the world does the same.
Who invented it or single use device has nothing to do with it

And incredibly you wrote all of that yet again and failed to answer the very simple and straight forward to the point question.

So therefore we cannot have a conversation, because you’ve just shoe horned the same old drivel in there again.

You also don’t know what intuitive means. By its very nature it means things will he different based on context. Exactly this behaviour you bemoan is what makes it intuitive.

It’s a bit of stupid question

Why do we need cameras on cellphones? Why do we need voice assistants? Why do we do need AI? Why do you care about setting ‘mute’ on your iPad and it goes to your iPhone automatically? Why do we need 4K recording? Why do we need anything really?

Edit : I don’t even think you read the above because that’s one point.

If it’s such a stupid a question why can’t you simply answer it?

It’s just diversion after diversion.

You aren’t applying any logic here other than Apple bad, Android good because more options.

The very strength of Apple is that less is more. That’s why it’s intuitive, as it doesn’t get bogged down in the mud offering every little thing to every little one.

Mostly the added features in Calendar and Mail and Control Centre.

I’ll be missing out on all the Apple Intelligence stuff due to having an iPhone 11 still.

More excited for the iPadOS stuff that relates to the Apple Pencil but seemingly I’ll be missing out on those as well unless I buy a newer one.

Zero interest in the icon bullshit and found it deeply annoying when reconfiguring my iPad’s Work Focus this morning.

Already running both and it’s much of a muchness without the AI stuff.
