Apple Card algorithm isn't sexist, says Goldman Sachs

Goldman Sachs Group Inc. Chief Executive Officer David Solomon forcefully denied customer allegations of gender bias in setting credit limits for the Apple Card, pledging to address a social media and political uproar with more transparency when making decisions.

“There’s no gender bias in our process for extending credit,” Solomon told Bloomberg TV in an interview on Thursday from the New Economy Forum in Beijing. [Bloomberg]

Did you just disagree that you are sexist? OMG!

I can't even.

When someone calls you sexist, the proper approach is to grovel, admit you are a terrible human being, and promise to do better, but admit that you will always fall short and always be sexist, because like, you just will.

that the company provide more information on whether its computer models may be unintentionally cementing decades of gender bias when helping to issue the card.
 Gotta love this statement. A computer has no idea of gender yet is unintentionally discriminating based on"decades of gender bias". Mah facts are racist sexist.

Someone should print out the binary for the neural network model and drop it on her desk.
