I think it would have been nice if the starting price was $200 less. It's too expensive for what it is, and it's only $100 away from the MacBook Pro. The pricing is nonsensical to me.

They "fixed" it on the previous one, a lot better than it was, seems like it was mostly an OS error.
That's not to say it's great, still throttles, but not as badly, though it's still worse than anything actually built to accommodate the TDP.

It used to be a case for size and weight but now with the newer regular Macbooks being so thin and lightweight I can't fathom it either.

And even the old ones you needed to be on a plane almost weekly to really justify that compromise.

Now I guess it's all about being trendy.
