Anyone having issues claiming the *free* trial. My US acc says I don't have enough bucks. I have $9 but it's a free trial so even if I have zero $ it should still work. Any ideas?
Having the same issue...

Well, that's frustrating, thanks Apple.
I download the latest version of Apple Itunes, then go to the Apple Music website and select to start the trial. This opens up the Itunes store in the app, which then displays an error that I need to update my Itunes. This directs me to the download page of the UK Itunes, which then shows that the latest version for download is the one I have, not the newer version required for Apple Music.
Aaaaargh. Such a run-around! This is the 64-bit version, btw.
Anybody else had any luck getting this working in SA legally?

The interface is a bit clunky, even on a 6+. Song selection is ok, it's funny that Google Play Music has the Beatles and all the Metallica albums and Apple does not (US store)
Does Google Play have a streaming service that has the Beatles music on?
Yup, Google Play All Access. Been a subscriber since it launched.
But did you import your own Beatles music from another source or purchase it separately? As far as I knew it wasn't available on any streaming only service.
For example I can stream Beatles music on Apple Music because I have purchased from iTunes and could stream any of my purchased music even before Apple Music.
So I asked online & I've been told I need at least a $9.99 balance to claim/opt in for the *Free* trial...WTH
I like it but meh.. It really is a bit awkward with iTunes Match. Beginning to wonder if I keep iTunes Match
It's a very good thing because hopefully other big ones start paying attention to SA. Next up local Amazong and Azure cloud replication? Wonder where Apple is hosting all this locally...if at all.
In my opinion no iTunes Match is now pointless...unless you need access to a lot of offline play.
If you have uncapped or enough data to stream constantly iTunes Match becomes redundant as you can upload the missing albums that aren't offered via streaming to Apple Music exactly like you would with iTunes Match anyway.
So far I am very impressed with it...except for the fact that iOS9 Beta testers have been left in the cold so far so checked it on my wife's phone and iTunes directly.
With Family Sharing this is really a game changer for us as we needed to abuse my account the whole time for iTunes Match. Now we each have our own "profile" and one universal cost which is awesome.
Now when will Apple do this for TV...
Biggest deal for me is that this is all on my SA account. No hack jobs or workaround. Perfectly legal...put in credit card and off I go. And Apple have put some real effort in with local specific playlists and recommendations not just a clone of somewhere else.
