We are now in 2021 and the best the self driving is capable of right now is with assisted human inside aka SELF FKING DRIVING.
 
You will have to pay $1.99 everytime your car signals other drivers and every year you stop being cool because you have old, outdated version, while the new one comes with wipers that clean 5% more of the windscreen surface revolutionizing your visibility and taking your driving experience to all new level.
 
Actually, in some ways I like the concept of giving surrounding drivers more information.
For example, you are driving on a motorway and the vehicle in front you brake lights go on; this could mean anything from a mild speed adjustment to an emergency stop. Giving you more information would enable you to respond more quickly, and perhaps avoid a collision.
At one time (many years ago) some cars had a small green/amber/red light fitted in their rear window.

Great idea, even better if they can be made cascading, like your car warns the car behind who warns the car behind him etc.

Just not Apple's version please, it'll be too expensive, half as good and require about 4 headphone adapters (seperately sold) to be able to use.

No, not like other cars. BMW indicators are known for show and simply there to make it look like they work :laugh:
 
The warning system will use LED displays and could provide braking details, countdowns to actions
