You have developed a really strange victim mentality with respect to your iOS usage.

I engage in good faith which you then devolve.

I've gathered that everything that iPhone can't do well is niche / edge case to every iPhone user - so you don't need to tell me again

No man, you're just being snaaks and playing the victim now - why do you find it so hard to accept that I don't use any of the functions/apps that you have problems with - I just don't. That's no reflection on you, that's a reflection of my reality, not yours. There are plenty of things that are small annoyances for me on iOS - they're just small enough that I don't feel the need to speak about them on a forum.

There is actually one example of a piece of software that is only available for iPads. An app called Procreate, used for digital art. Android has alternatives, but nothing quite like it.

Used this as the example because there are people who have gone out of their way to get an iPad just to draw on said app with the apple pencil.

There is no software stabilisation on the phone unless you want to try one of the third party apps. I don't think Apple's Photos or iMovie (on the phone) ever had it. Google did have it but removed it.

Your best option is to transfer it off the phone, using that laboriously slow lightning connection, and doing on a computer.

Cables are faster and more reliable.

Why I would round trip unedited video to the cloud is beyond me, especially on mobile data.

Well, based on the current supported iPad Pro for iPad OS16 it looks like you'll get at least 7 years of updates to the new OS and security updates for longer than that.
