Apple-Samsung partnership on the ropes

Very bad move for Apple, as practically the only hardware that works reliably in the iphone5 comes from Samsung.

Well, I doubt it will change.

Samsung is just a dumb manufacturer, with the SoC design being done by Apple. And it is Apple who QC's the output at the moment, so it will probably remain the same (Whether that is good or bad)

Samsung is not the dumb manufacturer you claim. They are actually very smart when it comes to making chips and SSD's. Their processes are second to none. Why Apple loved using them. Apple might be doing their own SoC designs but the quality in manufacturing them is all Samsung. Apple will struggle to replicate this elsewhere. But as with the maps story they will take the risk to spite a competitor.

But they might be harder to find now which could raise the prices. Stuff like the screens, memory, processors, SSD's

Apples QC is the worst in the world. Lots of people think they are buying an apple but they are actually buying a lemon.

Strange then that Apple tops user satisfaction surveys in every category they compete it. Perhaps you have some other info you'd like to reference or do you just constantly make up garbage?

Apple is selling Galaxy phones, with a diffrent cover and their logo on it, but with a useless iOS.
 
Samsung will be the losers not Apple .

The trash that come out the mouths of fandroids is embarrasing !

I think the main point is Samsung are easily replaceable for Apple not so much the lost revenue that Samsung stand to lose. I think only two components (display & CPU chip) come from Samsung, the rest elsewhere probably to manage risk.

Dude, if all the problems of late leave you with a feeling of satisfaction, then you need to have your head read. Stop believing the hype and face the facts. If any company released a phone with the number of faults of the iphone5, would you describe their Quality Control as world class.

I think Samsung is welcoming the move, as their production capacity is strained to the max. They need to buy the Soc in the S3 mini from other foundries.
 
From recent reports at Foxconn that world class QC includes security personnel with batons.

How do you figure. Go re-read all the pre-iphone5 speculation so you can get that warm fuzzy feeling again.
 
Anybody see last weekend's SNL's skit on the iphone5. Well worth it.
