Samsung next?
I was about to ask this because I am sure Samsung said last year they'd follow. Apple did so first and the haters hopped onto the bandwagon to lambaste them.
Samsung (and probably other manufacturers!) waited it out...the same haters would then love their idea.

We not talking about "you" this isn't about you and your irrelevant opinion. Not everyone has a wireless charger. There is always some f**ker like you that has to disagree with a bigger issue because it doesn't affect 'you"
He just wanted to mention he has a wireless charger at home and the car...lol!
I have an iPhone and would prefer a charger. Doesn't cost a packet to make them, and doesn't cost much to charge the phone overnight.

Having a wireless charger connected to a wall to charge your phone is kind of ironic...why not just have a wall charger then. Anywhoo...

Why do you prefer a wireless charger? It’s really unnecessary. It’s also not even really wireless, I’d expect wireless charging to be the ability to charge your phone wirelessly when it’s in your hand.
Years ago when we had 'wireless' (radio) internet installed I got a panicked call from my wife on the installation day: "Hi, these guys are not listening to me, they say the installation is done - the installation isn't done, I am done - please speak to this guy..." hands me over to install technician...

"Hi Mr. Slinky your wife will not allow us to leave as there is an ethernet cable coming in from the dish to your router. She insists that that she had ordered "wireless" internet and she is becoming increasingly hostile as we insist that "wireless" is not literal in this case and that we have installed what you have ordered." I could honestly hear the dudes eyeballs rolling.

It's pretty crazy that not so long ago cellphone makers were insisting that you had to use their chargers or else you would damage your phone, now they're insisting that they don't need to even give you a charger anymore because any old charger will do.

Everyone has that drawer full of headphones and chargers and cables and those rubber things for your ears from phones gone by... interesting topic actually. at the end of life the accessories for phones are useless. Rather standardize the chargers and headphones that can be used on phones.
