Laughable upgrade for the MacBook. The MBA also seems end of life now, will probably be the last year it is on sale.

The Spectre was first introduced in 2013, so it has nothing to do with Bond at all.

Having used a MacBook Air as well as various Ultrabooks, I'd choose the MacBook.

The only reason I don't have the Air anymore is because I use my personal laptop twice a week these days

The Spectre was first introduced in 2013, so it has nothing to do with Bond at all.

FWIW [Flemming's] spectre predates that by more than 40 years.

Really surprised they didn't bump up the MBA's screen resolution but I guess this is Apple. People will still buy and they will continue milking.

This was just a minor spec bump. Major improvements are expected when they announce the new MacBook Pro/Air later in the year.

However, you are quite correct about Apple milking their clients: they could have easily added a retina display to the Macbook Air as well as make 256gb SSD's as the minimum storage capacity on all the MacBooks.

Probably because then the MB and MBA will be too closely matched then. Then there is the price point but come on, it wouldn't hurt to bump it up to 1920 or something standard.

I have a Macbook, and love it, now with Rose Gold I can make the SO happy, and complete the Apple kit
