Scenario:
A private company appoints a registered accountant who compiles and signs off on AFS for the 2016 year. The company then appoints another accountant the following year, without terminating the appointment of the first accountant. The second accountant compiles the and signs off on AFS for the 2017 year.
What are the consequences for both accountants? Could the one be sued by the other for damages of some sort? Any sections in SAIPA/ SAICA/ IRBA's documents to refer to?
