Possibly if you jail break but I'm not sure. Typically if I'm interested in the current weather I use windows . . . we've got them all over the house.

For weather i use yr.no and paste on desktop, never really trusted the apps.

Nope, best you can do is have that as your active application when you press the "sleep/Power" button.

True. I usually just ask siri nicely and he tell me.

The odd thing is is I ask siri he shows me the widget but I can't understand why it hasn't been enabled in the notification centre like [I think] it is on the iPhone. Maybe they just forgot.

Re: Carmageddon, yes will be other stores, I was more meaning that it wasn't in the ZA store, and not that it was only in the US store.
