Poco M3 128GB is around R3199 and if you have a little extra the M4 Pro is around R4500. Great phones and around 6.6", strong battery and even 90Hz (X3 is 144Hz). Always liked the Poco phones as they are really punching at the R12-16k phones for around R4-5k.All the budget Android phones I can find from Mi or Samsung are 6.5" near 200g monsters, are there any budget android phones that have around a 6" display, 4GB ram and ideally 128GB storage?
I saw the M3, it seems to be a rebranded Xiaomi Redmi 9T because the specs are absolutely identical.Poco M3 128GB is around R3199 and if you have a little extra the M4 Pro is around R4500. Snap, I was just looking at the N40 Pro for R2999, amazing value but no NFCDoogee N20 Pro at 6.3"
No the Chinese pay with QR codes so these cheap phones won't have NFC.Snap, I was just looking at the N40 Pro for R2999, amazing value but no NFC
Doesn't look like the N20 has NFC either?
50g and 15mm much of a muchness.I saw the M3, it seems to be a rebranded Xiaomi Redmi 9T because the specs are absolutely identical.
They are amazing value but as per teh op I'd prefer a smaller phone around 6"/150g, I find the 6.5" phones are all around 200g and it's just too heavy. I might have to get one because there seems to be just about no options in the 6" size.
Do you know if the M3/Xiaomi Redmi 9T we get in South Africa has NFC and if it works with FNB Pay and other banking apps to pay at till points?
There are very few budget phones that try to go smaller but 6" shouldn't be too hard to find.I saw the M3, it seems to be a rebranded Xiaomi Redmi 9T because the specs are absolutely identical.

The Xiaomi Redmi 9T goes for around R3.2k and some versions appear to have NFC, its a 6.53" 198g behemoth though and the version on Takealot has no NFC going by the reviews:There are very few budget phones that try to go smaller but 6" shouldn't be too hard to find.
But if you are looking for a budget phone that supports NFC and FNB Pay then you are going to really struggle. I tend to use Samsung Pay, so sadly I can't really help here, but have been looking since I do want to pick up a new phone eventually, which probably wont be a Samsung.
No NFC on the version sold by Incredible Connection either. The Xiaomi Redmi 9T goes for around R3.2k and some versions appear to have NFC, its a 6.53" 198g behemoth though and the version on Takealot has no NFC going by the reviews:
And the one sold by eBucks? No NFC on the version sold by Incredible Connection either.

Even the version on MI South Africa doesn't list NFC:

Seems good, it's virtually identical to the Xiaomi Redmi 9T but both have no NFC, which is a deal breaker for me.What is the consensus on the Poco M3?
Try to get the A22 lte version at a decent price.Seems good, it's virtually identical to the Xiaomi Redmi 9T but both have no NFC, which is a deal breaker for me.
