No real guru would accept that, for guru's that is just the standby allowance.

Yea i'd consider for 980k. I can compile custom kernels and know everything in userspace.

Probably means they are not looking for a guru, just an admin.

... if you have a passion for Linux and to go deep into everything and anything built around it, you should consider to take this opportunity. Take my word - I have been witness to some crazy stuff being developed, tested and tried out - on the edge deep level computing beyond my capabilities and it's extremely interesting to watch, learn and develop skills - some not searchable in 'google' ;)
