The Chelsea grape really is the most sour of grapes.

That yellow/red card call may have gone in our favour but except for the first and last 10 minutes Chelsea was rubbish.
They're just mad that daddy's money couldn't buy them this one.FB_IMG_1596365336823.jpg

Pretty sure Chelsea would've kicked up an almighty fuss if they thought it was handball.

Worst kept secret of the transfer window finally in the open: Willian is a Gooner!

Always liked him, and unlike the other agents Chelsea has sent over, him making an error won't necessarily cost us a game, so that's an added bonus.

Decent signing, a bit on the old side for a 3 year contract, but could work well for us.

Ooh boy Raul Sanllehi leaves soon after Arsenal launch an investigation into potential irregularities with the Pepe deal

Just a couple of weeks to go until the curtain raiser for the 2020/21 season. Would be nice to bag the Community Shield after getting the FA Cup recently. Really keen to see what Arteta can do with the squad over the course of a full season, with hopefully no more pandemic-type interruptions.

With Raul gone, Arteta will be more involved with transfers apparently, and from what I've read Willian was definitely someone that he was after. He may be a potential Özil replacement in the No 10 spot - his preferred position. We've also apparently agreed terms with (another) Gabriel, and Auba's deal has been finalised with an announcement imminent.

Who the **** came up with that fixture list?

3rd game: Liverpool away
5th game: Man City away
7th game: Man United away

Damn, we're going to need to go full FA Cup semi + final mode for the first two months!

Gabriel Magalhaes, deal seems close to complete, should know tomorrow. Hope this one does not fall thru the cracks somewhere.

Same. We'll have a centre back pairing to carry us into the next decade if things work out with him and Saliba.

It's only the Community Shield, but we're looking like a proper football team with shape and a plan again. Good value for the lead, too. Keep it up, lads!
