And Gabriel.
I can see Juve being able to pay a good price for Gabriel but don't see how they can pay the fee for attacking 1st team player from a Top 6 EPL side.

According to journo Charles Watts Klopp has previously openly praised Martinelli. With Mane going, this maybe a concern.

It's worrying that leading up to the transfer window that there's more news about potential exits than new transfers

I miss the days of mesut ozil on the final hour of the transfer window :crying:
I don't miss the days of Wenger dragging out new signings just long enough so that when they do eventually announce the signing fans are too busy celebrating the signing they don't even notice the transfer window closing with no other major signings being made

City have already signed Haaland and Liverpool are going for Darwin Nunez. Saka should just sign the ting already.

a read week ago with benfica confirming he's guaranteed to leave this window, club wants 55m, were not getting that unless we offer Pepe plus cash
Apparently United was sniffing around Nunez, this prompted Liverpool to swoop in and close the deal as quick as they did.

First transfer window?

Arsenal are always linked with everyone the big clubs are tapping up, and then in the last week or the last day of the window sign someone that no-one has ever heard of, a teenager or someone that no-one wanted just because they were like “oh ****, we need to sign ANYONE quickly”.

What annoys me the most about us not getting our business done early like other clubs is that our new signings have almost no time to get a preseason in with their new teammates, come in with massive expectations and/or a hefty price tag, and then take forever to gel and then just live on the bench (see: Pepe).

With no striker coming in the January window (which cost us the Champions League - facts) and saving us a boatload of wages with Auba and Laca gone, our number 1 priority now is a PROVEN striker, and then getting some cover in for other positions if we have any change left. Oh, and tying Saka down to a 5-year deal.
