Auba, Sanchez, RvP and Henry, Jesus is good but he's not on that level. I suppose this is the best we can hope for without CL football.

Does any idea when the new CL format kicks in?

Any news on Gabriel Jesus? I keep seeing that the deal is essentially done, really just needs the ink to dry and be announced

Personal terms agreed, player due to fly in to complete his medical this week.

In other news, KSE just keeps on winning: their NHL team won the Stanley Cup after their NFL team won the Super Bowl. Good omen for their EPL team maybe?

Matt Turner finally joined today, and is a decent keeper, so I guess that means Leno may be on his way out.

Maybe we should sign Pulisic, perhaps having more American teams will make the Kroenkes donate more time, attention and resources to the team.

Seem to be focused on Brazilians or, at least, Portuguese speakers at the moment. We’re turning into Wolves!

*a good player in the last year of his contract. Bit steep, sure, because it’s not like City need the money or anything. Worth remembering that he’s only 25, so hasn’t even peaked yet.

It’s a really good deal for a premier league ready (ex)champions league player who has played close to 250 games for man city, and is 25.

So far the tear it down, pay them off rebuild is looking good to me.

Martinez (who I have never seen or heard of before) converted to a Tomi-type LB next please.


It’s Gabriel out from the back. He finds Gabriel who slides in a pass to Gabriel who puts it past the keeper. 1-0 to the Arsenal.

We were strongly linked with Aaron Hickey, who used to play on the opposite flank with Tomi at Bologna. Very good left back. Now he’s on his way to Brentford of all places?

If the window shut today, would you be happy with what we’ve achieved? What else should we be bringing in?

If we are getting guzumped by a club like brentford then it is clear that Arteta and Edu need to go
