Decent game today against Nurnberg. 2-0 down only to win 3-5. Jesus with 2 on his debut. Nice run out to get fitness levels back up.

good link up play with nketia, martinelli and jesus

Yeah definitely. Arteta post match said that today was also about trying different things, like 2 up front, which is something we haven’t seen for a long time. Totally behind Nektia and Jesus playing off each other.

Jesus looks like he's trying to hard, he really wants to be loved by the fans. Only concern I have is that he over does it in preseason and gets injured for the start of the season.

Wanted to watch, saw the game was 16:30 - and was happy, till I realized that - that was UK time, and that load shedding would screw me at 18:00 ...

Comes across as a really humble, chilled guy. Not just here for the pay cheque, which is nice. He actually wants to contribute to the project, to help Arsenal move forward again, and just wants to play football every week - something he wasn’t able to do previously. Giving it all in preseason means you’re going to be ready for when the season starts, which is how it’s meant to be. Not sure what his injury record looks like, though…

Also, it’s nice that Citeh sold us someone for once: we were a feeder club for them for ages!

Reading between the lines of his statement when he made when signed and his performance it seems like he's a player that is motivated by being loved by fans.

With a huge fanbase like ours, this could see Jesus hit the next level at the club.

Rumours doing the rounds now that the player accused of rape IS Partey, but that all charges have been dropped. Apparently his girlfriend fabricated the story after he refused to marry her - he even went as far changing his religion for her, but seems like that wasn’t enough for her.

So the rumours were true.

makes sense now why we were linked with another physically imposing midfielder in sergey milinkovic possibly a like for like replacement

Another way to look at it is that our season started going to **** when Partey got injured. It took Arteta like a month to figure out that playing Mo and Xhaka in the middle was the solution.

I've been watching the odd Lazio game since Sarri started coaching them, honestly wouldn't be a bad buy quite technical for a big lad I think he's 6'4 can carry the ball from deep with a decent engine

Had a look at the roster we’ve taken to America. Honestly, I think we’d be better off just hanging onto most of the players that have come back from loan, I reckon most of them could do a job for us somewhere on the pitch.
