If Arsenal are going to wait every game to score after conceding the equaliser, I'm not going to last

Nketiah is looking sharp

We’re just trying to make the opposition think they have a chance before we kill them off.

Sambi not too bad. Made some good switches, kept things ticking over without such incident.

What a player and signing Jesus is. Will probably say that at least 30 times this season.

It’s great that ever 2-0/1 could’ve been 4-0

Hoping odergaard not too serious, but ankles can be buggers. Good timing with Europa to get ESR and Viera some game time, might need them in the PL for a few games.

Yeah Sambi actually surprised me. Didn’t look as green as he did last season, which is great news.

Glad Jesus scored again. Saw a stat that he has the most goal contributions in the first 5 games for any player in our history. Even if he doesn’t bang them in every game, his work rate and pressing is insane.

Douglas Luiz is apparently pushing for a move to us. IIRC, weren’t we originally linked with him, but he then blanked us to join Villa instead?

That Martinelli shot real deserved to go in. From contender for goal of the season to Martinez contending save of the season.

I feel as a shot stopper Martinez is superior than Ramsdale but I don't think his other aspects of his game suits Arteta style like Ramsdale does.

Hindsight shows that ditching was the right choice

Yeah letting him go was good for the Arsenal and the player himself. And it is true that he wasn't playing at this beast mode when he was at the club, the move lit a fire in him. Which is good for him.

Wasnt he at Villa already, this was maybe last season or the season before.

If Arteta thinks he can do it, then I'm on board, know nothing about him except that he has score from a corner in 2 games this season :)

I think we tried to get him in january a while back, hes a DM/CM that can dribble a bit basically fits arteta's profile

Considering the injuries to our DMs, Sambi has a lot of responsibility on his very young shoulders now, and hopefully he can stay fit. Only reason I can think of as to why we didn’t sign anyone yesterday would be that once everyone is eventually match fit we’d have a surplus of players in the 6 position.

Also, with Pepe shifted, that means our mystery winger is Marquinhos. And our only striking options for the next 5 months are Jesus and Eddie.

Hopefully this doesn’t bite us in the arse like our failed January window. The only bonus from that was it forced us to eventually play Eddie, which did wonders for him, but it all happened way too late to make any real difference.

The 5 wins in a row, and the 15pts banked, may prove to be invaluable if we pick up a couple more injuries before the WC. It really kicks off this weekend away at United, and Europa starts next week, too, so two games every week is going to put a lot of strain on the squad.

Auba is back and claiming to have unfinished business. More prima donning?

May surprise us now. He’s worked with Tuchel before, who probably doesn’t mind him nipping off to another country when he’s meant to be in training, etc.

Suppose he'll play along if allowed to come and go as he wishes in his own time like the star he wants to be treated as. Suppose it doesn't matter if he performs and the rest of the team are content to kiss his ass.
