Well can't say I expected a different outcome but we live in hope. However, capitulating like that is still very disappointing. I can understand the injury problems but the coach needs to take a more positive approach in terms of creativity from midfield I think.

That did seem odd. Auba and Laca had almost no service the entire game, and we had Ramsey, Özil and Suarez on the bench, 2 of whom came on when the game was already dead. At 1-1 it looked like we may be able to nick something, but yeah.

Why did we get Lichsteiner in, the man is absolutely useless, all three goals came from our right hand side. He was completely at sea every time the ball came over to him.

We need to overhaul our defense

Initially, I thought he was a great signing - mainly for his experience. There's still a lot he could teach Bellerin and The Corporal in training, but I didn't expect him to get so much game time. And he's just a shadow of the player who won 5 Scudettos in a row, so someone else really needs to start in his place.

He reminds me a bit of Cech: great player back in the day, but now needs to hang up his boots.

deep down theres still a lot of Wenger's DNA in the team and that awful defence, we're exactly where most of us thought we'd be this season, Im not even bothered

stumbled upon this picture the other day, who would've thought the corporal would be the last one standing:laugh:

Ah yes, our great British spine. Oh well...

Re: Ramsey's contract. He'd actually accepted the deal we'd offered him, but Emery changed his mind at the last minute apparently. Bit weird, considering he said he'd build the midfield around Ramsey.

They showing some urgency. 1 spark and we can turn it around but playing same style over and over again, balls in from the wings...
