Deal in its final stages for Kos to Bordeaux. Max we'll get is €5mil though. I'm glad there's finally going to be closure. He was a good servant over the years, but the way he just started throwing his toys out the cot to try and get a move with a year left on his contract leaves a bit of a sour taste.

Eddie is probably going on loan for a season - pity, I thought we'd at least have kept him as part of our Europa/Cup squad.

Jenko is almost certainly going to Nottingham Forest - not sure if it's a deal or permanent.

So, we have 3 days to get at least 1 new CB, and possibly a striker. Raul, do your thing.

Koscielny has officially been unveiled as a Bordeaux player. So long and thanks for all the fish. In other news, we're apparently really pushing for a loan move for Coutinho?

So this is how our team might line up against Newcastle on Sunday:

According to Multiple Sources we have declined Coutinho I do not know what's happening at Arsenal

But the guy who said Coutinho To Arsenal is done is highly rated in France.

We Going To Be Linked To Every Center Back / Defender in the world and not sign any one, only for this guy to be our defender for a whole season IMG_20190806_213535.jpeg

Reports are saying Coutinho to Spurs more likely, and also Dybala to Spurs.

What's needed is to shore up the defense. They're doing everything but attending to the back where there have been deficiencies for multiple seasons now.

Apparently he's a bit ****, too. Did well at Napoli under Sarri, but ended up as 4th choice CB at Juve through lapses in concentration and errors. We also had a bid rejected by RB Leipzig for - damnit, not going to try and remember his name - because the deal didn't include Smith-Rowe.

yeah red-bull is having a laugh with the upemecano deal, 50mill plus one of our best foetuses

Coutinho is 100% not coming to Arsenal according to Fabazio He has 98% accuracy regarding transfers.

Rugani is far from from shite on his day he can be the world's best but Arsenal are still holding on to Upamecano from what I read.

You competing against Cheilline[Wrong Spelling]
Bonucci
Barzagli

That's 2 of the best defenders in the world obviously it will be hard to get in the line up.

Haven't seen him in action. And he's only 24 or something. Italian defenders, as we know, hit prime much later on, and tend to stick around forever (think Maldini was almost 40 when he finally retired). In terms of his position at Juve, it's going to be a while before he gets another look in.

Latest is that we're smashing out terms with him at the moment for a loan with the possibility of it becoming permanent. He can't be much worse than what we already have anyway: Papa, Mustafi and the gap that Kos left.

The Corporal has officially moved to Nottingham Forest. Been with the club for 15 years and as a Gooner always gave 100% for the club he loved.

He's also the last part of our "British core" to leave:
