Article: Julius Malema lost his second hate speech case

ANC Youth League president Julius Malema lost his second hate speech case on Monday as Johannesburg High Court Judge Collin Lamont declared the words "shoot the boer" to be hate speech. Malema was not present for the judgment, and his spokesman Floyd Shivambu would not comment on the judgment or say where Malema was.
 
Johannesburg - A crowd broke into singing "dubhula ibhunu", (shoot the boer) at the South Gauteng High Court after the words were declared hate speech on Monday.
 
So I suppose we're going to have to wait 6 months for a sentence? Wtf is with the slow pace of things when it comes to court?

Good to hear. I hope that they can actually hit him where it hurts when the time comes to pass the sentence.

Doh, now Afriforum is going to have to go after all of those chanting the song.
 
When was the first time Afriforum beat him? I thought the last case was a debacle?

The saddest part is this is going to have absolutely no impact on the amount of farm attacks, if anything the polarisation and publicity is only going to fuel it.

I say they failed in the way the case allowed Malema to explain his pre-birth struggle credentials. The zapiro cartoon demonstrates it best.
