Assistance needed with Email ERROR

I have a friend in the UK who tries to mail me.

I use mail.absa.co.za as my incoming mail, in OE or i read it on the absa mail page.

My friends emails dont get to me, he gets errors that say :

your ip address 212.74.114.** is blackholed by DNSBL.SORBS.NET

It may take weeks for the absolute banking seriosly archived to get back to me

Could any dns wizards help how to solve this?

The problem is on his side.

His IP address range is blacklisted by sorbs.net. After some research it seems like he is a Tiscali UK customer?

Yes, he is i also did some Doodling (g) and found some info,
IT appears there is a 50usd fine to get an IP removed fromthe block list.
Any way it could also be absa blocking that IP range.

BBJ kindly helped us out with GMAIL so its a solution until I get a rEsponSe from SORB
