Asus' strong performance in South Africa in 2024

Asus laptops, yea no, they have the worst hinges and glued screens, way too high failure rate. Especially in corporate environments.

BS, had ASUS laptops for years. Currently using one and I can say better than most other brands.
 
In the ROG Ally thread, many people have had failed ROGs. I've had one for instance. Less than a year old.

Okay so your experience is with singular laptops, with one user, try deploying it in batches of 25 to users who might be rougher with them... The hinges are very well document to fail , aswell as them being glued down.
 
Their expansion plans are very thin on adding to their local support. With that said I have a ten year old Zenbook that is still going strong, just running on Linux now that Microsoft is no longer interested in it. Even the battery health is still good.
 
My neice broke a ROG gaming laptop within 1 month.

Those hinges really need to be made stronger.
 
Now we know where captain justice has his reseller account.
 
I won't even consider an Asus if it doesn't come with a free 3year warranty.
 
I once bought a ASUS laptop off their website . I can fully agree that their hinges are terrible quality . But not only that , I dealt with Jessica and she was incompetent and rude .
