We had in the town I grew up in around ages 4 - 9.
Papers all the way into the 90s.
...I think most of us from back then had either both a bobt and/or demin spaar. Hell, I even had a savings account at the post office. Well when it was still something you could call an establishment.

-Analog/Paper:My 1st years of pay was delivered by men in black coats. Cash days, ZERO Digital crap.
--A meal costs 25cents.
---Full tank of fuel=R5

-Analog/Paper:After that bank accounts happen...For years bank costs were ignorable, reason the bank plays with your money when you dont use it mostly at night.

-Digital/Easy Greedy 1992+:Then 30 years ago banks started to smoke me and still do today, no choice, they just add a name/service and subtract, its so easy with digital, so now I am loosing money in the bank, like a reservoir with a leak.

As the corrupt practices grew the prises hiked, vicious non sustainable circles.

I started with Saambou, where my dad worked.
Later the banks started giving away wallets or something when you opened an account, so I got one at BoB and Standard Bank as well. Maybe some others.

14. I was trying to buy tech from overseas. I thought it will work for online payments. Eventually I used my father's credit card and just gave him the cash to deposit. I(on his name) got fined for altering the price of goods to evade tax. I learnt a few lesson that day. Don't evade too much of tax and don't underestimate people (the taxman in this case).

When I started delivering Newspapers in the mornings before school on my BMX
You had a bike? Must have been nice. I had to walk, uphill, in the snow, and barefoot.

I was probably one when my grandparents opened an account for me so they could get a free toaster oven.

Ah the bob cards, I had the bob junior hologram card. Think it had a crocodile on it. Probably around the age of 9/10

Then also had a standard bank account for the cartoon cards... a superman card to be exact. Will post a picture of it later
Did you get the velcro folding Bob-T wallet?
