Couple of observations without reading through all posts:

SA seem to bowl with a plan to top order, but when the lower order comes in they 'expect things to happen', in fact just losing the plot with bowler management, not keeping the foot on throat..." Hey , Themba hasn't had a bowl yet, let's give him an over"

Crowd misbehaviour...Lehman criticised the Aussie crowds too...that seems to get left out, but the point is that the 'monkey caller' , even if one could argue the severity vs insulting family, actually gets banned...not evicted to return later.
Overnight, the Wanderers Soccer team in the Aussie national league, lost a $1M/pa naming rights sponsor due to supporter misbehaviour...that hurts the bootom line, they won't be able to afford a marquee overseas player, and the team already has a points loss suspension hanging over them.

If that abusive spectator is a member, no matter what he said, if it was at SCG...membership revoked, and the waiting list is over 20 yrs (and pricey)

Let's be honest about the debate ratehr than childish name calling

I love Vern's LBW Appeals when he knows you plumb. Basically doesn't even appeal :D:D:D

Appeals like that for all close ones...is any bowler in the world less trustworthy in referral opinion?...Yet they listen to him every time

Lehman also encouraged his own crowds to abuse broad before the last ashes so no he is in no position to make comments about crowd behaviour.

Tossing the ball to Bavuma shows we lack a decent 5th bowling option. He only lasted 1 over.

Not sure if Vern can continue in this match.

Yep, I remember that.

Normally, Australians take a relaxed attitude to walking, which is to say they don't generally do it. But comments made by their coach Darren Lehmann at the end of England's home win in 2013 ensured a molehill became Ayers Rock.

'That was just blatant cheating,' he frothed. 'I just hope the Australian public give it to him right from the word go, and I hope he cries and goes home.'

Darren is the one crying now. :crylaugh:

Amen to that. We effectively 56/0, good start to the 3rd innings. Our openers need to dig deep, apply themselves and not give it away. Grind out a patient 40-50, work the new ball and set things up for the free flowing batsman to follow.
