And what was the answer, my little cupcake. :)

I have explained it over and over.
Classic Dunning-Kruger though.
Clever enough to understand (be fooled by) some or other BS and to conclude that it must therefore be true (because you understand the BS) , but not clever enough to recognize the BS for what it is.
Thoroughly brainwashed.
I have shown you opinion of the brightest minds on the subject. Now, provide proof for your assertions.

How can I have an answer if you refuse to provide anything...

And yes we are aware this thread is a great example of dunning kruger effect.

Never mind methane which is much worse.

Bit silly to post these graphs when they do not correspond to temperature or sea level rise.

Or how far do they lag behind, supposedly? Why aren't we dead yet?

Might aswell enjoy however much time we have left, paying carbon tax cannot reverse those graphs.

But it will make beef more expensive which will hopefully have the effect of people switching to plant-based alternatives.

Besides the alarming production of methane, beef production is also the number one contributor to deforestation.

Around 50% of all agriculture goes to feeding livestock.

Also, 326m2 of land produces 1kg of beef (wet weight) vs 85kg of soybeans (dry weight).

And to top it off, beef production also uses significantly more water resources.

So it's not just terrible for the environment, beef production is also a huge waste of resources.

If you have a good enough recipe it's extremely difficult to tell the difference.

Went to a lot of mock meat restaurants in SE Asia and I can only say my mind was blown.

Those magazines were the business... They still do similar things these days, but they're PO3S expensive now, last time I saw one that had a monthly magazine with a bit of a bigger project attached it was like R350 for the magazine.

They were ridiculously expense even back in the day! Only the rich kids I know could afford them!

I only got to own the first magazine because it usually had a introductory price well below the normal price.

My point is it's not actually needed.

Why waste resources, damage the environment and cause deforestation (not to mention the mass killing of animals) purely to insist on less healthy food that tastes practically the same?

Kinda like those people who say "I will never drive an electric car because it doesn't feel/sound the same". It's just an exceptionally bad reason to burn fossil fuels.

The real obstacle here is the price. It's easy to say "I'd rather eat real beef than pay extra to get some fake meat burger" but if Spur had beyond burger patties for cheaper than beef patties you can bet your ass people will eat the beyond burger patties.

It's just a matter of time.

After all of that doom that we have record numbers of CO2 more than ever before you think making beef slightly more expensive will do anything.

So what's the point then.

Maybe you are wrong. Just get out of the house and enjoy nature a bit. You'll feel better
