Hello Guys
I took up a Vodacom contract with autopage to get the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, as it would seem they have a better deal than even Vodacom themselves. Only after using the phone for a 3-4 days do I realize that the model I have is not the one that has LTE support. This could be the reason Vodacom deals can't match those of Autopage. Customer support from Autopage have confirmed that they do not stock the LTE version of the Galaxy Note 3, if only they had mentioned this upfront I may have changed my mind. Granted, LTE isn't exactly the most reliable connection to have if you are moving around a lot and I don't really need to consume so much data, but I think the principle of the matter is that Autopage didn't highlight that this device doesn't support LTE.
I guess I should have researched the model number a bit more before signing a 2 year contract, as there is no mention of LTE functionality on any of their advertising, I just didn't know there was a non-LTE model.
I hope anyone who was hoping for a LTE version of the Galaxy Note 3 realizes this before they sign up with Autopage.
Cheers.
