Yeah they do look right but it does say median so I'm guessing that would be taking into account the fact that there should always be far more juniors than seniors in the market, therefore pulling the overall amount far down. The salary range itself does look quite low and I'm still thinking of it from a perspective a 2 - 3 years ago already.

Unless the vast majority of developers are juniors I fail to see how the average C# developer only pulls R20,000 pm. If they said R35,000 pm it would've been more accurate imo.

The PHP salary looks correct though :twisted:

Well since some of you are paid below average salaries, we are looking for a junior/intermediate Android developer in Bryanston and willing to pay an above average R360k CTC pa to start with :p

When are these surveys going to start including the "new" IT jobs of Scrum Masters and Product Owners? Also not seeing any data/analytics type of positions? Or are these positions just blanketed under "Developer"?
