Axxess any good at R59.00 p/gb?

Anyone here used or know if Axxess is any good? i see they advertise R59 p/gb shaped and R99 p/gb unshaped.

Been with them for the past year with our ADSL accounts. Had no problems myself.
My boss has been hosting his webpage with them now for the past 5 years and has also had no problems.

They're not bad. Only problem is the service and support department. They never seem to receive any of my emails when I need help.

In terms of quality of the ISP account, no problems so far since the begining of the year.

is it month 2 month, and the last time I asked them about carrying over unused bandwidth they said you can't. And they don't have any prepaid,

Yes Axxess is month 2 month. I was told last week that they are bring out 'prepaid' and 'pay as you go' within the next few weeks.

Had a 10 gig account with them for probably a year now with no problems. Never really needed support or anything though so can't say much. Only problem is their stats server's been down for forever. Probably going to change to Webafrica though, cheaper for the 10 gig account and the service is supposed to be good.

R59 p/g is a great price though, much better than WebAfricas R75 per gig.

but how are thier bundles? ie, WA have 10 gigs for R499, which im shure they can beat if they sell one gig at R59.

But that R75/gig is for prepaid isn't it? Doesn't expire etc. Its R599 for 10 gigs, just come down from R650, which is why I'm changing to Web Africa.

Ja, i know, but im sort of confused as to what the R59 from axxess is. It might as well be prepaid right? I know there are benefits to prepaid but cant you just add bandwidth on Axxess too? I wouldnt have to ask if their website would load.. but it seems down for now

Well they are implementing prepaid soon, so we will see who has the best price.

EDIT: Okay the site works now. The 10 gi price there too is R599, but I guess with WebAfricas great reputation you might be better of fthere, but they seem to have a cheaper 1 gig price, so maby prepaid will work out cheaper too?

Anyway, this is a pretty stupid statement: This gives you a FASTER surfing experience without all the latency.
Basically they only use SAIX, hence lower latency. but without all the latency? wow.. im not even shure what that means. You probably cant surf without ANY latency...

It's R70 per GB of pre-paid and R490 for a 10GB account.
