Do not use the VPN, you are affecting other users real time protocols....

When doing a speedtest, make sure no other devices is connected. I would switch off the access point, connect a PC with a cable to the router. Restart the router. Run speedtest.

19 Devices is a lot. Someone could be using torrents 24x7. Which isn't fair to the other 18 devices or the ISP....

As mentioned, just move to Afrihost Business Uncapped!

How is a UK ISP going to authenticate you on our local DSLAM? And provide a 50Mbps service???

Being throttled at 109GB is rather low! Personally I prefer to rather pay for the data I use, you can be assured
of receiving good service.

Personally, I'm on TelkomInternet at the moment, and I have absolutely no problems with browsing, streaming, HTTP downloads, or gaming. At any time of the day. Torrents are dead as hell before midnight though, but personally I can live with that. If you're heavy into torrenting, then this might be a turnoff for you though.

Sounds like you're criticising Telkom just for the sake of criticising Telkom. Also, they do shape torrents, and I've noticed *very slight* shaping behaviour on HTTP downloads. The technology is there and active. Whether it will get worse, is another story.

Simple guys, you get Telkom to add a new realm to point to the authentication server in the UK, its so simple I think I am gonna get an Australian ISP. May my latency better than all of yours


Sorry disgruntl, what I am getting at that it is possible but to do this will be a nightmare, and your ping, well, all your traffic will go via that country so you can imagine, you do not need extra cables just a lot of patience
