Has anyone got one of the zyxel P-2812HNU routers that Axxess are selling?
I bought one to use their static IP setup but Im really starting to hate this router.
I have DHCP etc configured on one of my DC's using IPv4 only(for compatibility reasons etc) which works just fine.
Now I introduce the Zyxel into the mix with certain ports being forwarded to their relevant servers but it keeps on dishing out IPv6 addresses to the client that can use them. The problem being it gives out addresses relevant to the router and not to my infrastructure. I have tried adding an IPv6 range to my DNS server but I cant stop the Zyxel from conflicting with it.
These are the IPv6 options on the router:
I have been through all of them so ignore the option its on at the moment.
It doesnt make sense though, only one option allows disabling of IPv6 DHCP but it then still advertises itself to clients via RADVD.
If anyone has any ideas before I throw this thing out the window it would be great.
