Stupid #$^#@%&@$ bold never works on thread headings!

What a load of bs, everyone who signed up thought they where getting something new and decent. This port shaping webbrowsing step back into the dark ages is for idiots like wbs staff who don't know what the internet is. The second I find out if local adsl stays uncapped I am jumping back to adsl. Who cares about stupid fake 1 MB speeds. The company have shafted me so hard theat the bitemarks on my pillow are deeper than the Telkoms

If their exist any hackers wanting a cause please lash iburst's package sniffer

Vote with your wallet. Cancel. And then, tell everyone you know about the service you received. It works, in the end...

Yep I agree - cancelling is the most effective form of protest if WBS has breached your iBurst contract by non-provision of service ;).

A bit of personal history: back in January & February I resisted cancelling my iBurst, in March I applied for ADSL & gremlins in TelkoDemonopoly's system cancelled that order, April came then May, and in June I applied for ADSL again which this time was not cancelled, and then 1st of July I gave notice to cancel out of my 24 month iBurst contract with WBS due to continual breach from WBS' side, I post this using ADSL and I am a much happier dude with the stability that I'm getting from ADSL. I am concerned though about [post=267156]TelkoDemonopoly's intentions of increasing prices on 1st November[/post] :(.

Just for interest sake.. I am personally also on 24 month contract with iburst (though a reseller). What is the consequences if I cancell the 24 month contract?

And who must i call ? reseller or WBS?

Your contract is with the reseller, you need to work it out with the reseller :).

Where does your monthly debit go? Reseller or WBS direct?

@Tagiton, my iBurst was directly with WBS so I could be wrong in my previous post, do you have your copy of the contract you signed in the presence of the reseller? - if so, is it a WBS contract, or a contract entered into only with the reseller as a legal entity [i.e. registered company]?

Screw this, I am gonna join jawug and play permenant lan games, enjoy unlimited downloads (or swaps) and get as much porn and other trash as I want every month.

I cannot believe we all thought iBursts original approach was out of heavy research and clever market placement and not stupid ignorance about what people are gonna do with their connections (i.e. whateva they #@%^ing want)
