Hi All

Just wondering if there is a Method to limit the usage on the B315

My kids are literally raping the Uncapped services now while on holiday and just want to throttle them before Telkom throttles me

Yesterday alone they streamed 45gig ... Just need to turn it down a bit

You can't throttle, but I think it will cut connection. Setup SNTP date and time first (Settings -> System). In "Statistics" create data plan. I don't know what is behaviour of "Threshold", probably it will report on the home page.

Will look into that before setting up the DLink

But if I bridge my old Adsl DLink router you can do IP throttling with it. So with my whole house being on Static IP its easy to just throttle everything in that regard. And it literally throttles. Did it while I was on Capped with my ADSL

Will just do it again now with the LTe

Ok so I triedd this last night and for some reason I just coundnt get it to work

So I have a DLink N600 and the B315

What I would like to do is use the internet connection of the B315 and share it with the N600. I want the N600 to be the DHCP as it has the IP Management but aparnely you cant use it because its relient on it being the Internet connection as well. So that just sucks completely.

Anybody willing to give some guidance

The B315 should just apply the Internet connection. The N600 should manage the network. I connect it though the WAN ports with one another (Lan 4 on both) I would also in the process like to get to the B315 so needs to be in the same IP range

Or pfsesne, it works wonders as well. Mikrotik is great, but pfsesne makes it a lot easier to manage.

Lol ... If I have to spend money I will just buy more cap instead. Holidays are over in a month and then all goes back to normal
