Back to blackouts in South Africa

The South African state-owned power company’s warning that the country was threatened by months of rotating blackouts became a reality in less than 24 hours.

Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd., which produces most of South Africa’s power, said on Wednesday that controlled blackouts could return and last throughout the year.

They are already not sticking to the loadshedding schedules, either. Makes it even harder to deal with.

If they appoint proper intelligent people to run Eskom,who are actually interested in fixing the company rather than self enrichment via kickbacks and also recover the billion payed to the Guptas things will change
They applied the same ploy in 2008 to blackmail the people to approve big tariff increases.
But you can bet your bottom dollar things will improve intime for the next election or they will lose voters.
