So what's your story? What do you want out of life, what do you get out of posting this drivel or are you actually some banned person trying to incite or is this it, you have nothing else better to so...haha you need help dude.

I'm going to go move to Spain (or somewhere different) and be an investment banker. I'm not a banned person, but I do enjoy showing the reality of South Africa since here in the west we have a false impression of it being some wonderful country filled with happiness. But as I think about... South Africa does seem kind of gay, I guess the country I was looking for died years ago and now all that's left is some half-ass attempt (if you can even call it an attempt) at a country. There is a lot of bitter SA'ers walking around here, very nice people, didn't understand why they couldn't get a job in South Africa, so it got me interested and now I understand why. America I guess you can say sucks given who you ask, but SA blows harder and longer than any whore I know.

Why don't you come and visit before commenting? How about that? You know what - I live here - and I like it here - surely that is something?

And wtf do you mean by "died years ago"? Sure there are problems - but generally it is getting better

Yeah - he feels safe so he's not likely to go nuts. I've had him for 5-6 years now and haven't had any problems.

Having been attacked by my dog (a stray from the shelter) when I was a kid I keep an eye open when my little one is playing any of the dogs and not necessarily just that one.

Yeah you have to be careful I think, can happen so quickly too. Seems like some breeds are more predisposed to it than others.

.To be fair I think he accused him of "sounding like" one rather than actually being one.

Semantics. :D But it seems to be accurate anyway. :p

Interesting comment.
The apartheid supporters said a similar thing when people criticised the regime. "Come and see for yourself."

This was at a time when coming would imply support/condonement of the system.

Do people really have to come and experience the high crime and other nonsense just to believe it exists. I believe Brazil has a crime problem, but I don't intend to visit.

He's a lab/weimaraner cross - predisposed to getting a bit excited but he's getting on in years. Speaking of old dogs . .
Oh look, Bwana learnt a [-]new[/-] old trick :D
Yep :) It's nice to hint at what you really meant. ;)

I prefer not to judge an entire nation vicariously. More often than not people coming here never experience the high crime and other nonsense.

And Brazil . . well I would still love to visit that place of course I prefer not to let fear govern my decisions.

My dad visited SA for business reasons in the 80's, said it was a very nice place. I asked him if he would visit the place now... I think we all know the answer (and the reasons). Honestly just go read the headlines here - http://www.southafricasucks.blogspot.com/ - this place is incomparable to North America and Europe. I don't see the economy there improving in the future either since now countries are issuing reports telling people not to visit SA because of the high levels of crime, and a big part of the economy there depends on the tourism.

Okay now you are just acting like a bloody ignorant yank.
You have been told countless times that a large part of our economy does NOT depend on tourism...

You have been shown facts and figures to prove this. Yet you stick to this pathetic standpoint because you know nothing about what you are talking about.

Why not act like your namesake and bugger off somewhere else?

Clearly he doesn't want to let facts get in the way of his propaganda. :D

I've been told this? Uh... OK. Show me some facts about the economy and what it depends on. We all know that SA is no financial center, maybe agriculture.... oh wait no not that either since your farms are being taken away.

Also a Yank or Yankee comes from the northern states, I'm from the Midwest. You're going to get some weird looks calling Americans yanks because they wont understand what you're talking about, or a Southern might take offense and give you a clobbering.
