You can still post your selfie.

True story, my 18 month old got a toy phone for christmas. Now, in addition to be hellishly loud, and the fact that she presses the same few buttons so that the same few lines of the same few songs keep playing (I've never heard more than the opening sentence of that song from Frozen - it's a Frozen (tm) phone I guess) she calls it her selfie.

Corporate Visitor's parking bays in Sandton office block - just off Katherine Street.

When I returned to my car, just before 14h30, this is how the cretin in the VW Cross Polo (FD 23 GS GP) had parked - with both left wheels over the yellow lines & in the 'Keep Clear' zone!

Could they not have just backed up - and then lined up properly & parked correctly in the bay instead?

Seems that was too much effort for him / her.

Same company car park again, this morning at 08h05 or so - yet another failed attempt at parking to the right of the the disabled parking bay, by the owner of the VW Cross Polo (FD 23 GS GP) - definitely seems to have a 'left wheel affinity' for yellow lines - or in urgent need of new spectacles!

Repeat offender :p

This Ranger with numberplate FYR 003 EC took quite a wide berth:

The numberplate would be ironic if it were a Ford Kuga...

I think they are just trying to avoid car door dents from cars parking in the bay to the right. Normally I would be with you on this, but is the Polo actually inconveniencing anyone by parking slightly on the yellow lines? I am sure I have done this before and for the same reason (slightly overlapped into dead space and NOT onto a neighbouring bay)

Problem is - it is NOT 'dead space' - as the offence on Day 1 was that the Cross Polo was encroaching into an EMERGENCY EXIT - KEEP CLEAR yellow demarcated bay - and then on Day 2, the offence was again encroaching into the yellow demarcated bay for DISABLED PARKING - both clearly visible as such!

The Polo Cross picture didn't show that it was a disabled bay so, because that is the case, I agree with you.

How to make sure NO-ONE ever dents your car when they open their doors in a parking lot - get a Ford Kuga 1.6 EcoBoost.
