I don't understand the point of damaging someone else's property, even if they're being a retard.

but why willfully choose to park like a retard - chances are you will be treated as such.
but in this case we are dealing with full retard.
if one chooses to park directly over a pavement forcing pedestrians, people in wheelchairs, mothers with prams etc to now walk in the street one deserves anything that happens to the car while creating this situation.

this is not the first time, he has regularly parked there for the last month.
there is a huge free parking area diagonally over the road from where he parked, but no, he would rather for his convenience, & at the expense of others, park across the pavement.
call it a deterrent - when people's stupidity & inconsideration starts costing them money, they are quick to learn.

Damage to property (vandalism) is against the law (criminal and civil - law experts can correct me). You're not above the law. Exactly like the 'tard on the side walk.

In our local news paper they have a section for 'Name and Shame' where the local community send pics of people parked in disabled spots and they publish them in the news paper...pretty cool I think!

My most memorably experience of people that ignore no parking zones, was the day I went for a Gastroscopy at Sunninghill hospital. The parking was full but for additional parking on the grass at the back, accessible via a narrow gap (clearly marked as non parking) between two demarcated parking spots. After my non desirable procedure I returned to my car to discover somebody had parked in that gap. With no way for dozens of cars to get out the parking area I was in. Waited two and a half hours along with many other people.
