Saw two classic ones right next to each other this morning, but didn't have my phone with me at the time.
A Ford Ranger and Land Rover Discovery parked on the raised paving between two different parking sections less than 3 meters apart, because parking bays clearly don't apply to them :erm:
Had some twat park next to my Hilux, in my parking bay so my door could barely open - needless to say, after what is now 14 hours at work, and 17 hours awake - I got in my door, and his passanger door now has a 2cm deep in-print of my Hilux door, enjoy *******.
How do you confront someone for parking badly?
I was at makro today and just couldn't get myself to confront the guy about how badly he had parked.
Tell them this: I'm taking a picture of your parking skills, and uploading it to a database that is monitored by some traffic cops. Expect a fine soon enough. Enjoy your day.
Just to see how they react.
Uh? I fail to see what the problem is. A number of malls around Johannesburg have designated parking bays for the 4x4s on those raised paving islands.
Unless I'm misunderstanding what you're trying to describe.
Aren't you concerned about him asking you to pay?
Parking bays do seem to be getting narrower over the years. I can barely fit my car in properly in most places. Got plenty of door dings because of narrow parking spots.

A few people tried to park next to him but since the concrete pillar is there you its too tight to open the door.

My complex's underground parking is so narrow that if you park perfectly in the bay, there's a few CM either side of the car. It's fscken ridiculous.![]()
