Bad Quality Broadcasts

Ok, so I know that I'm really picky about how I watch my rugby, but did anyone else feel the irritation of having to switch commentry channels a bunch of times during the Springboks vs Lions test match today?

Initially, they had the audio channels mixed up, with 1 - Xhosa, 2 - English and 3 Afrikaans and from there it only went south.

Pretty much everything happed, from reshuffles which seemed to be at random, to all the commentary on 1 channel to no commentary at all.

Whatever happened to pre-broadcast checks?

This is news?

Wrong forum, surely.

I went one thread back and saw no posts and didn't figure there would be anything beyond that. Looking at it now, had I gone to the root I would have noticed a better place to post it. My bad indeed.

Any chance it could be moved there?

There's already a thread on it but yeah, it was annoying. With the Zulu (or whatever) commentary getting mixed up with English and eventually all 3 audio feeds on one channel.

Even Supersport's messages to let you know that they're aware of the problem aren't professional and seem like they've been written by a 5 year old.

Had an awesome broadcast on HD Channel 170 :D I have noticed that the languages are messed up on the standard 201-204 channels though :(
