In line with the sex and kissing threads, I'm just curious if you'd leave (or cheat?) your SO if the sex and kissing wasn't up to scratch?

I've heard that it makes a huge difference and is a potential relationship breaker, but I don't have the same view :/

Please would someone tell me WTF SO means :p

Dolby i think i would leave her if all she ever wanted to do was missionary or only have sex twice a month missionary style.

I think sex is a major part of a relationship and having sex often means your both horny for each other :), I don't really see how kissing could get to the point of cheating on someone as kissing is not rocket science, if the kissing is bad it can be easily fixed by saying something.

Thing is you will find girls/ladies are very open to different things with sex you just need to make sure they feel sexy and beautiful and this can take months of compliments. Obviously some girls/ladies are naturally confident because they know they are hot or think they are hot :) but even hot girls may think their butt is big or they have cellulite on their legs and all that other kuk :).

If the sex wasn't up to scratch and she wasn't keen to learn (hope she has an open-minded, hot friend and she can watch for pointers) then she has to go unfortunately...

sex is exceptionalyl important, if its not right and no matter what u try its not getting better, then i think it would not work...

I know i might get bashed here, but thats one of the reasons i think its essential to move in with your partner before marriage and have sex. If its not gonna work, u dont want to find out after u have said ur "i do's"..

Dolby .... huh?

Learn to talk to her and both of you work at making it better. Leaving your SO because of something that can be fixed sounds more like a scape goat aproach than anything else.

Same goes for cheating. Why would one go and sleep with another woman for the exact same result you would get from your SO. Sure the excitement of being caught and seeing this hot woman naked might be fun. But it's a once of thing that dissapears once the novelty has warn off.

You get the exact same result from having sex with your SO than having it with someone else. You blow your load and feel better...

Speak to your wife and let her know how you feel and work on it together.

I wouldn't cheat... I'd tell her it sucks and find ways to fix it.

Guess that's just the type of person I am ;)

Sex is very important, if one/both of you aren't enjoying it fully, it becomes a chore ... after while, the entire relationship becomes a chore ... being kissed and having great sex is almost a guaranteed relationship maker :) keep it spiced up, try new things, be adventurous ... its amazing how a relationship can change for the better!

I don’t personally think there is such a thing as “bad sex”. There are many different scenarios for which sex to be classified as “bad”.

There is unfulfilling sex, where one partner is not really experiencing the amount of pleasure that they may have hoped for. This will more than likely be true for women as men can have performance issues, such PE or impotence.

There is boring sex, where on partner may feel that this is the same old same every time, but does not have the nerve to inform the partner that they would like to be a tad more adventurous and experiment a bit with their lovemaking.

There is emotionless sex, where one partner may get the feeling the other is not too enthusiastic about the proceedings and is regarding the event as a chore of some sort.

There is no sex, where one partner does not desire to partake in intercourse as often as the other. This can be due to stress from many outside factors or a poor self image.

All the above scenarios can lead to resentment festering within a partner, which if left unresolved can cause serious problems within a relationship.

Sheesh! What happened to love, commitment, loyalty, honesty ...

I'm engaged and getting married this year but if my fiancée decided to never have sex with me for the rest of our married lives, I'd still marry her and stay faithful to her.
Why? Because I love her more than my own selfish desires. I love her as a unique, individual person and not as a casual sex object.

No wonder why so many relationships and marriages never work.

Sex is a short term relationship issue, if you're playing for the long run, it's probably about 9% of the relationship. There are so many aspects to a human, and a heck of a lot of these aspects are simply glossed over. One of the really obvious ones that nobody seems to care about at all is their partners level of happiness. Humans have become so self centered that communities cannot even work together anymore.

honestly i dont believe you....perhaps in the older years when ur both 60+ and decide to never have sex etc, but as newly weds, it would certainly create problems...

If you are having sex, and good sex then i agree, it then makes up a small portion of the relationship, if ur not having sex it usually makes up a fairly decent sized portion of the relationship and its problems...

Look sex for me is about 60% of the relationship.

Men don't like to be cuddled or kissed as much as women, we like to have sex and this shows us that our ladies loves us, now ladies want to hugged, kissed, cuddled, told you love them everyday for them thats basically sex.

Now imagine a guy kissed his girl once a week and cuddled her every second week, how long do you think the relationship would last?

Sex is mostly for guys to feel loved
Kissing cuddling etc is the way ladies feel loved.

Obviously there are exceptions to this rule such as one night stands and what not but in a loving a relationship i think that is how it works.
