Whole month? End of may is just over two weeks away.
2.5 weeks or 18days away. and it doesn't mean much anyway. As some areas will stay on level4 (i think western cape and KZN, Eastern Cape and Gauteng will be having a pleasant level4 still)

Now or in 2 weeks time?
Ever, why would they. At level 3 they will have some other excuse about how naughty everyone was by going to get black market smokes, so they didn't listen so no smokes for you. Oh and drinks because it makes you do naughty things

Yeah I know I mean Gauteng really is a hotspot with 525 active cases, which is 4th in the country.
I mean let's only look at the totals

I dunno how they check it. Also remember ... alot can happen in 2.5 weeks. Remember that one Dr said. SA might be seeing close to 3000 infection per day by end of May.

So maybe they still checking whats going on... monitoring the numbers.

The only numbers they are monitoring the ones in their back pockets. They don't care about the virus and containing it. That's been made abundantly clear now.

I think they going to give speech of how testing is going etc.etc

They also going to let everyone know that most areas will be going down to Level3. But not all areas will be level3. (Some districts will remain level4) i wonder if some might even goto level5(but i doubt level5)

I think most of CPT,East Cape, Kzn and Gauteng will remain level4 (which means no ciggies/alcohol)

Areas going to level3 they will most likely be able to buy booze/cigarettes.

Above is my guess.
Your guess was very well considered

There is a huge difference between new infections and new cases. It seems clear that the Western Cape leads in the number of cases, due to screening and testing protocols (and fast turnaround), while other provinces are living in fools paradise.

IMO it is pretty obvious that there will be close to 3000 new infections by the end of May. However any definitions which rely on 'official' case numbers will be fatally flawed. Basing district level restrictions on those numbers just compounds the folly...
