Because smokers obviously lack a brain to think for themselves and will just share cigarettes.

When a government treats it's citizens like toddlers you have a government that thinks like toddlers.

I’m very sure that they will move cigarettes down to level 2. But if everyone moves to level 3 then maybe a small chance. Alcohol I think will go down to level 2. They just dangling a carrot so all you smokers behave. Level 4 was meant to have cigarettes and wine, then they changed it to level 4 now as you get to the finishing line the it might move again.
I'm pretty sure smokes will be lifted by 26th, ie, last minute on 25th. They won't allow this to go to court and have another judge **** all over them... infact, I'm expecting it to be lifted this week

Thats deadline to hand over documents to fita... I think they'll lift it so fita drops it
I'd be happy if they do that, but I have my doubts that they will drop the ban.. if anything I expect them to try frustrate FITA in terms of the documents etc.

Ok, want to put money on that?

If you are so sure, then surely R100 donation to your local SPCA or soup kitchen would be a sufficient "bet" as it were?

Definetatly, I will donate but it will go to a animal organisation as they are having a busy time and I haven’t seen any speacial government funding for dogs or cats, they should be feeding starving pets especially in townships. Will donate more and either way to the outcome.

All good man...

Just so we're on the same page then. If we get alcohol on Level 3, you pay R100 to an animal org of your choice.
If they keep the full ban in place under Level 3 I will pay R100 to an animal org of my choice.

All good with that?

(Donating more is all good and welcomed... The R100 is a nominal thing more than anything else :) )

Damn, I still got 3mg nic juice (under lockdown for R70 a 60 ml) but traded it for 8mg nic, main reason why I'm still a calm on the smoke ban, smoking 3 cigarettes a day coupled with the vape

I normally mix 11mg for friends that are quitting smoking, they can take it down over time as they get used to it.
Anything less and the cigarette cravings are a bit too much for them.

Niece said she's gonna get me some 25mg nic, waiting patiently as the mixture I have is keeping the (cig) cravings at bay.

They (the plaintiffs) have to see it through though, and challenge the regulations for the specific lockdown levels.

Not a lot is stopping government from moving back to level 4 or 5 in the hours/days/weeks/months after level 3 is enacted, so whilst sale of smokes and booze could be allowed on level 3, they aren't on level 4 and 5.

NCCC members have already taunted the possibility of moving back to stricter levels.

It's to this point that I do not understand why BAT dropped their legal action.
