Don't see cigs unbanned soon View attachment 892640

If the WHO had any credibility they would create a poster stating they contributed immensely to the first month of not giving a damn about covid19 and even recommended not wearing a mask, washing hands, all the essential things.

Now they want to preach via bs like this poster ? FKOFF!!!

Dumb ass people in the WHO. Any smoker is going to take years of not smoking to help their lungs improve. The evidence just isn't there that covid is any worse for smokers, covid is categorically worse for metabolically challenged people especially those who are diabetic and obese...which well isn't caused by smoking.

I dont think they are dumb, thats the seriously concerning part. They are simply operating as a global political party these days. They make decisions and adjustments depending on who pushing them money where they can get their back scratched.

If people want to talk about conspiracies relating to World Government well that is far from conspiracy if you have things like the UN for military/economic decisions and WHO for medical decisions at a global scale.

It should not exist in this day of instant communication. It might have made sense in the 50's and 60's post World War but at some point you have to stop babysitting and dad needs to go to old age home.

But in a new 86-page replying affidavit, Dlamini Zuma not only argues that she had no duty to consult with anyone before imposing the ban, she bluntly dismisses Basson’s arguments as “simply baseless”.

He “ventures other opinions for which he is plainly not qualified,” she said. At best, she argues, Basson “has experience in the retail grocery retail sector (but) is not an expert relating to the exigencies of governance during a pandemic”.

However, in a surprisingly inflammatory statement, Dlamini Zuma rubbished his argument that alcohol could be allowed in ‘cool green spots’ where Covid-19 has retreated.

“Dr Basson refers to ‘cool green spots’ as if certain parts of this country live and operate in silos … the burden of Covid-19 is shared among affluent and less affluent areas. Planning by government is not done as it was under apartheid”.

This clearly got under Basson’s skin. Yesterday, he filed a new 10-page affidavit, in which he said it was “outrageous and uncalled-for” for Dlamini Zuma to suggest he wanted government to conduct its planning ‘as it was under apartheid’.

“My business philosophies and (ethos) have not been informed, influenced or shaped by the principles of apartheid. I never supported the apartheid government, and was never a member of the National Party or a supporter of the apartheid regime. My whole family and I loathed apartheid,” he said.

He argued that actually, he is qualified to speak, given the fact that he owns Klein DasBosch and has worked for nearly four decades dealing with “suppliers to the retail industry including wine producers”.

Basson says the idea of the ‘cool green spots’ actually came from government itself, which set out how certain ‘hotspots’ should be managed in its initial lockdown regulations. “This is not something I thought up myself. It however appears that the minister has made an about-turn with regard to this approach,” he says.

Not dumb - they're just using this to promote their anti-smoking campaign. Part of a plan to completely ban smoking.

Interesting.
I've noticed a new slew of anti-tobacco scare adverts over on MSNBC for the last couple of days.
Some of them are truly terrifying.

I liked this quote...

Still, Rossouw told the FM the case will go ahead regardless, even if it’s no longer an urgent application. “We have to go ahead. What if there’s a surge in November and they ban alcohol again? We’ve got to put a peg in the ground against this sort of arbitrary and irrational action,” he says.

Needs to be a judgement so she can't just do whatever the hell she wants..

There must be a reason why they're so fervently against bringing tobacco and alcohol back seeing as no other country in the world is going on like this, not even the most corrupt ones that can openly **** over their people without having to worry about any backlash.

So why are they so dead set against tobacco and alcohol unless they're hiding something they do not want anyone else to find out about.
Why are the dead against IPPs to assist Eskom? Why are they dead set on NHI? We're not dealing with smart, caring people here. Their only concern is them.

Eskom is a huge employer, is very top-heavy in terms of management and inefficient. If you allow IPP people will clearly see the difference and Eskom will have to sack people to stay competitive - not what the unions want.
