You are sounding very alarmist despite your good intentions, Lew Skannen level alarmist.
I can appreciate your response, but I will reiterate that these sorts of things happen because people become complacent.
'It will never happen' is easy to say. But, one must always be very aware of what is going on around one and with whom one is dealing.
I'll leave it at that.

Lockdown but Strawberry flavoured is the best way to describe stage 4 of 5. I imagine the rest of the stages are going to be equally as ridiculous. I worry if we don't end this nonsense soon we'll be living perpetually in stage 1-5 with stage 6-9 loadshedding.

Don't worry there won't be any load shedding, as there won't be any demand, as most of the power users won't be working any longer.

None of them will hold a candle to Level 10 riots...

This thread gas show that there is still people blindly following the ANC.
Also that they are ( within educated people ) the minority.
this also shows that most people now have seen that this is not about Covid19 anymore.

I might be wrong but having kids in an overpopulated world is not a good idea. Would be a good move if the government implement a no child policy. esp seeing that they cant afford the sassa grants with this pandimics bailouts.

PS: Its not the goverment's job to replace my parent. There is such a thing as civil rights. Go read Orwell's 1984 to see how this type of thing can turn out... that is if you can read?
And if he can't read I can send him the movie to watch!

The economy and the country was in the toilet anyway, no matter how one may dress it up.
What they required desperately was a vehicle to facilitate the implosion of the country and justify it.
They got it.
The can kicking has ended sooner than they had anticipated, and I will tell you now without a shadow of a doubt that we will see this country burnt to the ground.
This is Africa, even though many of us still believe SA is somehow a special case; it's not.

I am not a full time smoker but hope something bad happens due to this piss poor governments decisions that 1 Day it is O.K and the next Day it is no longer viable BS.

These retards must get their act together, not just put regulations in place where they do not know crap about and the impact it will have. Bunch of kindergartens running this country.

So now another few weeks of ignoring everything and the tabacco industry moaning that the ANC is ignoring them.
