Its a bit like drug-smugglers at airports. For every one caught, there are ten who get through.

BTW, its a great way to settle personal vendettas: Inform on someone, and you have one less competitor...

Pretty much exactly like that... One caught, 10 blue light vehicles with boxes of illicit smokes travel through :d

Why is it a problem to drive with my alcohol.
I’m not drinking it.
EWC, I wonder, if I go buy illegal bottle of alcohol, and the SANDF confiscate it from me, and then the police takes it from the army. Would I be able to buy exactly the same bottle the next day, or the cop would've drank it :unsure:

To be honest, i've heard that the police in certain areas are actually selling cigarettes... So pretty much sure that this situation would be a possibility somewhere in SA.

How long before they decide it's ok to go into your house and "confiscate" all alcohol and cigarettes that you bought before the lock down started?
